Training Day | 9.00-3.30 | Sat 19 Sep
Our Church-Wide Training Day has something for everyone!

In the morning we'll be hearing from our Building a Discipling Culture (BDC) team as well as taking part in some Coaching training with Cat. There'll be some snippets from different areas of the church in our Ministry Expo and then after a delicious lunch you'll have a choice of workshops (choose up to 2).

Catering will be provided as well as some fun activities between sessions. We'll also be joined by some other local churches from the Adelaide and South Hub of Generate Presbytery for some parts of the day.

Plan to come - it will be life-giving!

Some practicalities...

- RSVP by midday Friday 18 September (for catering purposes)

- Please complete one response per person

- Unfortunately we're unable to provide childcare for this event. We encourage children to attend and be part of the sessions, however if you have younger children you may want to bring something for them to play with or arrange babysitting for the day.

Building a Discipling Culture (9.30-10.15)
A key outworking of our vision for 2020 is to equip the congregation in practical ways for disciplining others. Consequently, a small group within Coro is receiving training in the 'Building a Discipling Culture' process through Crossway Church in Melbourne. This group will be share what they have learned and provide equipping in a simple, practical and non-threatening tool for evangelism called the DIscovery Bible Method. It's something every Christian can do.
Coaching (10.45-12.00)
Building meaningful relationships based on discipleship coaching is a key way that God builds and matures his church. But how do we do that? Do I have what it takes to be a coach?  How do I get a coach if I want one? Cat Patrick who works as a Coach with AFES (Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students) will introduce a model of coaching we will be taking on at Coro and inspire us to get involved.
