CORE CONCEPTS OF TRIGONOMETRY

July 24-27, 2023

(Monday through Thursday)

Session Time: 2pm to 4pm

Program Fee: $160

This course will be taught by Jason Saccomano and is designed for students who have completed an Algebra 2 course successfully and want to learn the strong foundation of Trigonometry.

UNIT 1-THE UNIT CIRCLE
Radian and Degree Measure in the Unit Circle

Values of the Trigonometric Functions in the Unit Circle; Evaluating Inverse Trigonometric Functions

UNIT 2-TRIG IDENTITIES AND SOLVING
Basic Trigonometric Identities
Solving Trigonometric Equations
Graphs/Modeling with Sine and Cosine

I will attend in person sessions: July 24-27: (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu) from 2pm to 4pm

Work Online Remotely. We will grant online access for you to work through the lessons from any location at any time. Once the lessons are completed, we provide an exam so that we can measure your improvement.

I will schedule alternate times using the SaccoWork Sessions link to work through these materials. Please allow the same amount of time indicated for each class.

MISSED SESSIONS

For any lesson you miss, you can makeup the session online or if you prefer, you can reserve a 2 hour makeup time to work in our supervised SaccoWork Room. This can be done for a full course if the schedule doesn't work for you.

If you know these dates now, please indicate the session date you will miss and let us know the day/time you would like to reserve for a makeup session. Otherwise, please email us when a makeup session is needed.

Our summer hours: (6/5-6/29 and 7/10-8/10 , Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu from 12pm to 6pm).
