SWIYA Mentor Application
We are so excited to have you join us as a prospective SWIYA mentor.

Before you start this application, please BE AWARE of the time commitment that the SWIYA program requires from its mentors to ensure that the young authors involved can enjoy as successful of a program as possible. During the four week duration of the program in February/March, you will be REQUIRED to spend at least 2 hours meeting with your child every week to meet the deadline of finishing the storybook by the end. You will also be REQUIRED to attend two short mentor training sessions to be arranged shortly after you are accepted as a mentor.

To help us get to know you a bit better and to help you understand the responsibilities of SWIYA mentors, please fill out the following application (BY_____). After a first round review of these applications by the SWIYA Committee and members of the Executive Board, we will reach out to appropriate candidates regarding online Zoom interviews for the next stage of the application process.
