Planning Inside/Out 2022
Join us outside.

An alternative to the traditional conference (and to the now ubiquitous Zoom meeting), this "un-conference" is a series of small group, in-person workshops outdoors, at various landscapes across Massachusetts and Maine.  Prioritizing issues of climate resilience, health, and equity, each session will feature a conversation between landscape architects and clients, builders, community members, engineers, local officials, and more. It's an opportunity to learn, connect, and explore a wide variety of landscapes throughout our region throughout the changing seasons.

WHICH LANDSCAPES, new or established, do you want to visit? Which communities or project types do you want to learn more about? This series highlights landscape architecture across our entire region -- the Berkshires to Bar Harbor, Cape Cod to Portland to Boston. Public OR private, small or large, ALL site suggestions welcome. Please list your top three.
Some meetups are intentionally family friendly. Are there any specific places you'd like to explore with kids?
WHAT ISSUES and ideas do you most want to examine in depth?
WHO do you want to hear from in on-site conversations? There will only be a few speakers per site, though the series as a whole will incorporate many perspectives. Click as many as you like and let us know who we're missing.
Any specific people you'd like us to invite to speak? Names, affiliations, and (if possible) contact info is welcome.
Thoughts on WHEN?  Weekends, weeknights, week days, what's best for you? Click all that apply.
Do you want/need LA CES continuing ed credits for these sessions -- whether you participate on site, in person or watch a recording online?

HEALTH + SAFETY. We're still mindful of the pandemic and will follow state and local protocols, including offering on-site masks, hand sanitizer, and requiring social distancing & RSVPs (for contact tracing)...  How else can we shape this experience to  improve participant health, safety & comfort?
Will you help make this happen? NO commitment,  we know that will depend on specifics.
If you said you'll consider helping, would you please leave your name and email here? Again, no commitment. This only means we'll send you an email to inquire as things take shape.
Anything else?  Any and all thoughts, ideas, concerns, suggestions welcome.
