This survey is intended to understand *who* is attending the workshop and *what* your baseline understanding of certain concepts that we feel are core to our educational aim.  Completing this survey will help us gain a better understanding of the audience before the workshop and therefore make it a more fruitful event.

The survey makes some optional requests for personal information, as well as the main survey questions regarding your experience and interest in various possible training topics, previous training experience, etc. Only an aggregate summary information (de-identified) will be made public. The unique identifier will only be used by the organisers to see the improvement after attending the tutorial. Your response will still be anonymous, it just allows us to correlate between pre- and post-surveys.
