Safe Environment training for youth in our parish Catechetical Program is required for all grades per the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People and the Diocesan Child and Youth Protection Policy.
A reminder that the Tally Sheet is due by February 15, 2023.
Upon submitting the form, the Office of Safe Environment will email you a copy of your answers to the email address provided in this form. Print a copy for your records.
No subsequent information is necessary. Thank you!
Some things to remember before filling out the tally sheet
- For home-schooled students who receive all Catechesis instruction at home: do not count these students as trained. Instead, include these students in 3. Total number of students absent on date of training in (Grade Level).
- If a parent requests that their child(ren) be exempted from participation in Safe Environment training, that request must be documented in writing by the parent using the Opt-out Form found on the Diocesan Website. Opt-out forms must be kept indefinitely.
