Update February 16: All participants are confirmed and we can't accept any further participants. We want to thank everybody for the enormous interest in the EM Spring School!
Update December 17: We reached the maximum number of participants and have to introduce a waiting list for new registrations.
Update November 26: We have currently more than half of the registrations and will close the registrations latest on January 15 or when we reached the maximum number of registrations. Afterwards, new registrations will be added to the waiting list.

Lab courses
  • Participants take part in one lab course on day 1 and one lab course on day 2, please indicate your lab course preference below.
  • We try to meet as many preferences as possible. Since there is a limited number of participants per lab course, it might not be possible to attend your first or second preference.

Day 3 - Elective programming courses​
The number of participants per programming course is higher than for the lab courses. You can join different programming courses on day 3 depending on how fast you finish your previous one.

Please indicate your interests below (multiple choice). And bring your own laptop to the programming courses, you can also use a laptop together with a colleague. If you need a laptop for the courses, please write us an email and we try to find a solution for you.

General information
  • You get a copy of your registration details send to your email address and you can make changes to your registration form through the "Edit response" link in this email until one month before the school. We'll inform you once we fix the registration.
  • As a reminder, there is a get-together (Pizza science slam) in the evening of Sunday March 3rd with introductions and networking. We would ask everybody to introduce themselves and give a short presentation with 1-2 slides (2-3 minutes) about their work at this get-together. Please send us your slide(s) to "contact@ydge.de" until Friday March 1st 2024 so that we can combine them in a single presentation.
  • We try to balance the attendees from the different fields of electron microscopy to foster the exchange between the fields.
  • Depending on the demand for the school, we might need to introduce a waiting list. We'll contact you if we reached the maximum number of participants and ask you if you want to be added to the waiting list.
  • You will receive the participation document after the school to your email address.
