NG22 Spring: Submission for pre-recorded online sessions
With the online part of NG22 Spring dubbed “NG for All”, the pre-recorded string of speaker sessions aims specifically at welcoming developers not yet established in the industry - students, newcomers from other industries etc.

Thus the session should be max 20 minutes long, recorded by yourself, should focus on your journey into the game industry and how you got your first gig. Alternatively you can also tell about a time in the industry which you feel like was your first big break.

Below are some helpful questions you can use to plan your presentation. These are completely optional to use, but it’s important is to keep within the same overall theme detailed above.
- How did you discover video games for the first time so that it sparked your interest to aim to get into the industry?
- Can you describe your own avenue to your first job? Was the road difficult or very straightforward
- Who are your game dev heroes, and why?
- What’s your advice to someone who is just now starting their journey to enter the industry in the same section as you?
- Looking back, what advice would you give a younger version of yourself starting their career journey out?

The submission deadline is 15 April, 2022. All submissions will be considered by the NG22 editorial board and applicants contacted as their talks are reviewed. Good luck!
