What Questions Do You Have?  How Can We Better Help You?
At the end of  March, the Governor signed into legislation HB 197.  This bill eliminates end of the year state testing and waives the retention consequences of the 3rd grade guarantee.

As our community knows, our schools are currently closed through April 3rd, and as a result many of Pleasant's activities have been postponed or cancelled (which are posted on our website).  As April 3rd approaches, we are anticipating more information this week regarding the Governor's plans for the school's role in the Stay At Home Order.  Also, based upon the signing of HB 197,  the Ohio Department of Education is working rapidly to provide clarity and regulations regarding graduation, funding and grant details, minimum hours, etc.

As soon as our district receives guidance, we will pass this information along to you.

As your Superintendent, I will host a teleconference at the end of this week updating our community with the facts that are currently known.

We have created this form to allow you to ask the questions that are pertinent to you and your family.  We will use these questions to design our teleconference as it is our goal to answer your questions, ease your fears, and assist you during this time of need.

Please continue to practice social distancing and enJOY the blessings of your family and friends.

Thank you,
Jennifer L. Adams; Superintendent
