In the globalization era, the conflictions and interactions within geographically cultures and ideologies are usual and reasonable. The communication within cultures is not only through language but also acting and feelings. Interestingly,  language translators transfer meaning through words; art designers transfer the culture through imagines. For instance, the fearless girls showed the social class confliction at Wall Street in Manhattan, the street art and graffiti represented the hippie culture in Brooklyn.

We are glad to invite three famous Taiwanese art designers sharing their creativity and how they have the “dialogue between Taiwan culture and American culture,” transferring the meaning of Taiwan, through their design.

Host: Café Philo @ NY, 婚姻平權大平台 (Marriage Equality Coalition Taiwan)
