TOURNAMENT RULES
1. ELIGIBILITY: This tournament is open to all 2024 TBA registered bowlers. All TBA Tournament Rules & Regulations will apply.
2. The highest league average as at 30th April 2024 shall be used over a minimum of 18 games
3. Bowlers not having an established average as defined in Rule 2 shall apply to the Tournament Committee PRIOR to the entry being submitted.
4. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to re-average and/or re-grade any bowler.
5. Multiple entries shall be permitted in Teams, Doubles, and Single events.
6. Teams and Doubles events may be mixed.
7. ALL EVENTS: A bowler’s FIRST appearance in Singles, Doubles and Teams shall count towards his/her All Events score regardless of the grade in which these events are bowled.
8. A substitute shall not be eligible for All Events.
9. Any Teams, Doubles or Singles entry may bowl in the Open division.
10. Substitutes or replacements MUST be reported to the tournament control at least one (1) hour prior to the scheduled squad time.
11. All entrants must check in at the tournament check-in within the thirty (30) minutes prior to their scheduled squad time.
12. No team or individual shall be entitled to a refund after receipt of entry (subject to the discretion of the Tournament Committee).
13. All averages shall be verified before prizes are awarded.
14. Up to ten (10) minutes practice prior to the commencement of each squad.
15. Full entry fee must be paid PRIOR to the first ball being bowled. No bowler will be permitted to bowl if money outstanding.
16. In the case of a tie in any position, the prize money will be split equally between the positions.
17. DRESS CODE: Suitable bowling attire is required during the Championships. Collared shirts, trousers/skirts/dress shorts. 
               * Active wear is not permitted *
18. PERSONAL ELECTRONICS: No mobile phones, MP3 players or unapproved electronic devices can be used while bowling, any device used for scoring must NOT be kept in the players’ area.
19. SMOKING and CONSUMPTION of ALCOHOL is prohibited whilst competing in the bowler’s designated event/s. Contravention of this rule will incur penalties in accordance with the TBA Rule Book.
20. United Tenpin Bowling Association will apply TBA rules, regulations and code of ethics during this tournament.
21. Entries will close on 30th April 2024 for scheduling. Late entries can be accepted subject to lane availability. Extra squads may be allocated if necessary.
22. OTHER MATTERS: Any matters which are not covered by these Tournament Rules will be determined by the Tournament Committee whose decision will be final.
