The International School of The Voice is a complete educational and performance program designed to train candidates that are serious about their commitment to developing and mastering the gift of the voice. Our goal is to bring the highest level of established international industry professionals together with those undiscovered and emerging talents, in order to contribute to the world of the performing arts with exceptional and unique individuals, who with their voices and talent are not only highly adept at their craft, but consummate, extraordinary artists of discipline and character, who through their inspired service make our world a more just and beautiful space.
We are solely looking for Post-Graduate artists to be trained in our ISV Principal Artist Program. Candidates will be required to live in Houston for training for TWO 10 WEEK TERMS. Term 1: September 9-November 17, 2024 and Term 2: January 13-March 23, 2025. Artists must be available for both terms. This is a certificate program. We will accept no more than 8 candidates. Each ISV Principal Artist will receive daily training in voice technique, coachings, et al, Monday-Friday, and will give 2 performances each term. Please see our website for more information. The proposed weekly schedule is below. Each artist is given technique classes and lessons by Executive Director, Elizabeth De Trejo. Our coaching staff is still in search, and will be announced in time.
Each day will begin at 1 pm on the campus of HCU.

Monday: Inhale Class, Technique Class, Lessons/Coachings
Tuesday: Inhale Class, Voice Musicianship and Score Study Class, Lessons/Coachings
Wednesday: Inhale Class, Cohort Voice Lessons, Coachings
Thursday: Inhale Class, Voice Musicianship and Score Study Class
Friday: Open Class All-Sing
We will require a Pre-Screening audiovisual recording of at least two contrasting pieces from the standard operatic repertory. There is no fee to apply. Tuition per term is $5,500.
