In applying for admission to the Huntington Beach Union High School District Math, Science, and Technology Magnet at Westminster High School, we understand that we must meet the requirements of the Magnet, which include the following: Student will maintain “C” average in all classes as well as a satisfactory record of effort, behavior, and attendance,Parent/guardian will monitor at least one hour/day/class of homework on weekdays and attend parent meetings, Student may not enter or leave the program except at the beginning of a new semester.It is recommended that all students entering MERITS as a sophomore complete at least 10 hours of community service prior to the beginning of sophomore year.
