Volunteer for Midtown HART's daytime drop-in Respite Center!  The Center is launching Sept 6th and will be open every following Friday from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Church (2620 Capitol Ave, Sacramento, CA 95816).

We ask volunteers show up at 1:30 PM for a small amount of set-up and expect to be there as late as 5:30 PM. Expected volunteer duties will be to engage with the guests, ensure water coolers are filled, pass out snacks, and monitor the restroom facilities, the courtyard, the perimeter and the alleyway to ensure all guests are being respectful of the grounds.    

The Center's purpose is to offer a place of respite from the weather with water coolers, small snacks, outlets to charge phones, and one professional service provider a week offering resources.
