Why are you interested in volunteering? *

Staff Positions

Staff roles work remotely in support of BUiLT Corporate. With dedicated work, the right attitude, and consistency in volunteerism, these roles can lead to pay.

Which volunteer opportunities are you interested in? *

I'm not considering any of the staff roles.

Apply to be the BUiLT Chief of Staff. Two candidates will be selected, with one succeeding to be Executive Director. A 2 year commitment. Paid compensation is expected within the first year, with eventual employment as Executive Director budgeted at $175,000. This position is best suited for an individual who has a career path to lead nonprofit organizations.

Serve as a BUiLT Assistant Executive Director (leading to pay) - 10 hours a week

Fundraising Director - leads the corporations efforts raising funds - 15 hours a month

Videographer - help post BUiLT videos for members.

Open Conversations Host - speak 2nd Monday of each month - 4 hours a month.

Education Director - help find training opportunities for members - 5 hours a month

Webmaster - manage the two BUiLT websites - 10 hours a month

Career Services Director - lead the Job Board activities - 10 hours a month

Marketing Representative - help support overall marketing activities - 8 hours a month

Board Positions & Committees

These are volunteer roles. Get experience with corporate governance. Many people volunteer first to serve on nonprofit boards with a lifetime plan to serve on a paid board.

Director of the Board of Advisors - ad hoc

Serve on the Grant Writing Committee - 8 hours a month

Serve on the Communications Board Committee, making social media posts - 5 hours a week

Serve on the Membership Board Committee, overseeing chapter activities and ensuring BUiLT delivers member value - 5 hours a month

Serve on the Sponsorship Board Committee, ensuring BUiLT delivers value to Sponsors - 5 hours a month

Serve on the Programs Board Committee, overseeing specific BUiLT programs - 5 hours a month

Serve on the Recognition Board Committee, helping deliver the Annual Gala

Serve on the Conflict Resolution Committee, helping resolve any people conflicts, if they occur, ad hoc

Serve as Treasurer - an officer board position - requires financial services background - 5 hours a month

Serve as Sponsorship Committee Chair, a board position - 10 hours a month

Chapter Roles

Serve your community and gain valuable project management and team building skills. Get skills in "running your own company." To be a Chapter Leader, you must be a dues-paying member of BUiLT.
