Volunteer as a Community Technology Educator for Missoula Nonprofits
Code for Montana & the Missoula Tech community is looking for volunteers who are software engineers/web developers/tech professionals to lead a free 5-week training on technology and/or computer programming for nonprofit employees.

Our vision is to pair an experienced tech worker with 2-3 employees from nonprofit organizations to either a.) design and implement a technology solution that will solve a problem their organization faces, b.) educate and empower employees to "fish" and build a small foundation to do more technical work themselves, or c.) a mixture of the two!

We are asking the nonprofit employees to come prepared with a project or specific area of education to dive into during the sessions, and will pair you with the project or area of education that best fits your preferences.

WHEN: 5 weeks from October 1st - 29th, every Tuesday from 5:30 - 8:30pm. You must be able to attend every session to volunteer, or have a friend in mind to split up the weeks together.

EXPECTATIONS: Have technical aptitude, listen well, be generally savvy and versatile, and willing to commit to the full 5 weeks.

Please note that participants are expected to have general computer skills like web browsing, Microsoft/Google document manipulation, and experience with communication and collaboration tools.
