THIS FORM ADDS YOUR CHILD TO THE YOUTH MEMBERS WAITING LIST FOR JOINING THE GROUP

We have one official intake of youth members each year, 1st September. There is a minimum age for Beavers (6yrs old), Cubs (9yrs old), Scouts (12yrs old), Ventures (15yr old) etc..
Places are offered according to free spaces and by priority system in the following order;
1. Existing leaders children,
2. Children of new leaders (when new leaders needed)
3. Children of fundraising committee
4. Children with siblings in the group
5. Date of entry onto waiting list.

We usually have a maximum of 10 places for each age group (depending on number of leaders available), 30 places total per section, so 10no. 6yr olds, 10no. 7yr olds and 10no. 8yr olds etc. as of 1st September.

I understand that this is an application to join the Waiting List for the group and is not an offer of a place within the group. Your personal data will be retained securely and maintained in order to offer your child a place in the group should a place become available in the future. They will remain on the waiting list until such time as we receive instructions to remove them from our records. *
