Welcome to the 2022 Design Challenge Championship, part of the Discover NPS Day (DND) event in Monterey, CA on May 13th, 2022. The Naval Postgraduate School focuses on graduate education for the top military officers in the country. DND is an opportunity for 6-12th grade students in the local area to explore areas of education and research across various disciplines with hands-on learning activities for all ages. This year, the Design Challenge Championship asks student groups to use their skills to help solve some of the ongoing challenges faced in naval STEM fields. Local participants will pitch their solution to a panel of judges for a cat probe. Those student groups not in Monterey County can also participate virtually and at any time.
