Violin Bootcamp 2022 Application
Please fill out this form in its entirety to apply for Violin Bootcamp 2022. Early Application Deadline is Monday, March 28, 2022 at noon. Early admission decisions will be communicated on/before Friday, April 1.

The regular application deadline is Monday, May 16. Admission decisions will be communicated on/before Friday, May 20.

Applications for the remaining spots in Bootcamp/Academy will be reviewed on a rolling basis until Thursday, June 23. Students should apply as soon as possible for the best chance of being accepted

***If all spots are filled after the admission deadline, applications received later will be put on the waiting list.*** There are 24 spots total for the Bootcamp.

AUDITION VIDEOS MUST BE IN ONE, UNEDITED TAKE, AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

One major scale (as many octaves as you can play fluently)
One melodic minor scale (as many octaves as you can play fluently)
2 - 5 minutes of a solo piece

All audition selections must represent your highest level of playing ability.
Accompaniment is not required for the video.
All three elements must be in the same video take. Only one video link may be submitted.

VIDEO GUIDELINES:

Applicant should be dressed as though for an audition (pajamas and athletic attire are not acceptable)
Applicant should be standing
Video angle should show the applicant's entire body as they play
Lighting should allow the judges to see the applicant clearly - avoid backlighting that silhouettes the candidate as they play.
