WCP offers a 3-step process that helps young children with a healthy start on their music learning journey. Please sign up if you are interested in participating! Upon registration, we will contact you for scheduling.
The three steps are:
(1) Introduction/Demonstration sessions.
Open for 4 or more kids. $50 per student for 2 one-hour sessions.
(This is like a show-and-tell plus an instrument petting zoo. Children who participate in the sessions will have a violin to play with, and a professional violist will demonstrate how the violin works and play some beautiful, kids friendly pieces. The kids are also taught how to hold the violin, tap rhythms, and making sounds by plugging and bowing. Violins are included in the tuition.)
(2) Mini-class on violin playing.
Open for 4 students. $250 /student for 10 weekly lessons (60 minute per lesson).
(Students will work on basic posture, bow hold, and left-hand position. Weekly assignments on rhythms, open strings, and pre-Twinkle songs. The purpose of the mini-class is to spark the students' interest in music and encourage daily practicing.)
(3) Private lessons: $40 for a 30-minute lesson.
(This is for young children who are interested in playing violin through hard work and daily practice. The student will work with professionals to build a solid foundation on violin playing and be exposed to classical violin music.)
