For those interested in entrepreneurship, there are plenty of competitions, challenges, and startup launch programs for you to submit your idea to. This is not one of them.
The goal of The Founder Challenge is to submit yourself, not your idea, to the process of adopting a Founder mentality. The challenge is quite simple:
Become a Founder
Start with a problem or solution. Find a problem you are interested in and leverage these action methods to address it. Alternatively, start with an existing resource or tinker your way toward building something the world might need.
In three months
Give yourself a short deadline. Building a product, interviewing customers, refining it, is time consuming, tedious, mononoutus and can feel like you there is no potential. Take action in a rapid way that sustains your motivation and allows you to give this particular idea a good effort. Join our slack community to share your journey and get inspiration from others like you
Be modest
Share your work, embrace the founder identity. But at the same time, acknowledge that your pursuit is about curiosity, learning, growing. No one likes the founder that brags about how they venture is about change the world–without any real evidence. Dream big, but balance ego against traction.
