Re-Commitment Form for 2025
Stewardship has taken on a dirty nature. It has become a word that no one wants to hear. This is primarily because stewardship has become about one thing... money. People feel guilty when they can’t give it and they get tired of hearing about a church constantly needing more of it. But stewardship was never meant to be about just money, stewardship is meant to be a reminder that everything we have is a gift. We were given this world and told to be good stewards of it. God placed before us all things, God gave us all things... our life, our possessions, everything that makes us who we are. How can we respond to that? Not with guilt. Not with apologies. We respond to it with what we can give. We are excited here at First Lutheran Community Church. There are a great deal of opportunities both inside the walls of our church building and outside those walls. We would like to do a lot, but they require a commitment, a recommitment, and we are asking you, as our First Lutheran family, to make this recommitment with us.
