Members
or their Parent/Guardians will be called upon to help at working bees (April to
July) and at camp to cut out costume fabric and other materials needed for
costumes, headpieces and club covers. No
more than simple hand sewing or cutting is required.
Members
are responsible for all embellishing of their own costumes, headpieces and club
covers - detailed instructions will be provided for this by the costume team so
that all team costumes are finished to the same standard making the team look
unified on stage.
Members
will need to supply the basic materials to embellish their costumes and make their
headpieces. These materials include:
- Cotton in suitable colours (for hand sewing)
- Gem glue (Fabri-Fuse E6000) TO BE USED ONLY !
Once
costumes, headpieces and club covers are handed out to members they accept all
responsibility of them.
- They must complete all embellishments and/or
alterations to costumes and headpieces as directed by the costuming team in a
timely fashion.
- Costumes and headpieces should be named.
- Costumes and Headpieces should be stored in a
safe place away from young children, pets and smoke.
- Bring all costumes and headpieces to every
performance in a costume bag and box.
- After each performance check that all costumes
and headpieces are in good condition
- At the end of the season costumes are to be
returned to the Costuming Team clean and in good repair so that they can be
stored as a set for future use.
