Officer Positions
Officers play a more dedicated role in CSSS than regular volunteers. Usually, officers will commit to being present at most general meetings, present and actively communicating in Slack, and may be assigned individual responsibilities relevant to their area that will last throughout the year. Officers may be screened before being accepted. Officer positions are not mutually exclusive.

Please read role definitions and responsibilities below!

What officer positions are you interested in holding?
CS Committee Representatives
Committee Representatives attend CS department committees on behalf of the CSSS in order to represent the interests of the student body. Representatives will work with the VP Volunteering and VP Academic as Officers. Representatives will commit to attending most Committee meetings. These positions can and should be shared between multiple people.

Committee Representatives have the first chance in helping shape CS department policy.

Although it is possible for any student to sit on a committee, representatives may be screened before officially being accepted to represent CSSS.

Please see committee descriptions below!
