Who is exempt? Players who qualified for the 2019 UIL State Tournament
Do I need to play tournaments over the Summer to attend tryouts? No, but you should play tournaments over the Summer. If you want to play Varsity Golf you should have played in as much Varsity level competition as possible, for example STPGA Prestige Tour, Legends Junior Tour, TJGT Invitationals, and AJGA events.
All players trying out should be familiar with basic etiquette and rules of the game(i.e. Penalty Area options, cart path relief, ground under repair, lost ball options, what to do when you hit a ball out of bounds, etc.)
All forms at the bottom must be completed prior to the first round of tryouts or you WILL NOT be allowed tryout.

*There will be an important Parent/Player meeting on Thursday August 1st at 6:00PM in the Cavalier Activity Center (Attached to the Turf Room) in order to go over tryouts and the LT golf program in general. It is not a mandatory meeting, but it is highly recommended that some member of the family attend. If attendance is not possible information about the golf program and tryouts will be on the website.
