Join Dean Lester and Michael Dreeben, former Deputy Solicitor General of the United States, as they discuss the role of the U.S. Solicitor General's office and explore his personal experiences as Deputy Solicitor General from 1994 until 2019.
Michael has argued 105 cases in front of the Supreme Court, including landmark cases in criminal law and procedure involving hate crimes and the First Amendment, Fourth Amendment rights in the internet age, public corruption and private fraud, and the Sixth Amendment’s Confrontation Clause. Michael is a partner in the appellate and white-collar practice groups at O’Melveny and Myers and serves as a distinguished lecturer at Georgetown University Law Center.
