Congratulations for making the first step to embark on a learning journey and navigate with the Ideas Ark on the sustainability and green ideas oceans.
Monomyths Association will be your host during the transformational journey and, together with the trainers team and sending organisations, we commit to make this experience tranformational, inspiring, and motivating.
Before proceeding with the completion of the participant form, it is essential that you read carrefully the info-pack and understand the main purpose of the project and its objectives, what we will experience together.
Your contribution is valuable and expected in all the phases of the project implementation:
1. Before the training course
We will create and carry out together an awareness campaign named Green100. The purpose of this campaign is to inspire other young people to engage in sustainable start-ups and to learn from best practices from different European countries.
Each one of you will identify 5 young entrepreneurs with green ventures/startups from their countries and take short interviews (written/by telephone/in person) to identify the following aspects:
a. What is the main purpose of the startup. b. What type of products or services they provide to their clients
c. What challenge the startup solves
d. What are the main motivations of the young entrepreneur/team to launch this start-up
e. One advice they would give to young people
f. Collect a photo of the young entrepreneur/team of entrepreneurs + their business.
The stories will be sent to the host organisation one week before the training starts and will be included in 1 European digital map of Green start-ups developed by youth to be presented and used during the training course.
2. During the training course
In the second day of the training course, we will select minimum one inspirational story out of the 5 discovered and create the “Gallery of Green Youth Start-ups” to exchange good practices
3. After the training course
To spread awareness about Erasmus+ Programme, Green Deal, Green Entrepreneurship and the training course, in national groups we will carry, with the support of the sending and host organisation two types of local workshops/webinars/presentations:
Type A Workshop - for youth workers, colleagues, teachers, leaders of youth organisations.
Type B Workshop - for young people and teenagers to test the playbook and worksheets, to discover the map with 100 green start-ups.
Even though this experience is designed to enrich as well your competencies in cultural awareness and expression, is not intended to be a holiday. Erasmus+ mobilities have the aim to support youth workers and Youth NGOs to develop their capabilities to provide quality services and support to young people.
If you want to explore Romania more, this is a great news and it makes us very honored. You can choose to arrive two days earlier or spend two additional days after the training course, on your expenses, to travel to other cities or enjoy even more the experiences that the capital city has to offer you. We have not planned trips in the learning flow since it is a short training course. Instead we will integrate topic related study-visits that can help you explore inspiring initiatives in sustainability and green entrepreneurship.
