2022 Constitution & Bylaws Revisions Feedback Form
The MAR Constitution and Bylaws Committee invites and welcomes feedback from stakeholders in the region. Below you'll find our current Constitution and Bylaws with space to comment after each section. (Some harmful language has been removed and will be identified when proposed changes are shared for voting. Other proposed changes are not reflected here, as they are in progress.) Thank you for your feedback. We will consider feedback for changes to present to  the membership to vote on in April in this continuously evolving document. Please submit feedback before 3/8/2022 in order for it to be considered in the 2022 revisions.

Goals we have identified as a committee are to create a Plain Language Summary Version of this document, apply a critical discourse analysis to identify how this document upholds oppressive structures, to examine the bylaws surrounding CHADI, and to increase congruence with the AMTA charter and the AMTA (national)  Bylaws as they go through a welcomed review and transformation in the fall in conjunction with the annual AMTA conference.

*For transparency, feedback will be compiled and shared with the Executive Board and the MAR community. You may choose to have your feedback be anonymous.

Please reach out to Audrey Hausig (The Constitution and Bylaws committee chair) at presidentelect@maramta.org with any additional feedback or questions
