Fall 2019 Perimeter Eagles Soccer: Boys Tryouts
Rising 6th-8th Grade (Current 5th-7th Grade) Boys Soccer Tryouts

Rundown:
Fall soccer is offered to boys only. There will be one team, consisting of 18-20 athletes. All practices are Monday-Thursday immediately after school (3:30-5:00p). Playing time for games will be earned through practice performance but every athlete will play in every game for at least a short time (unless disciplinary reasons).

Tryout Information:
PRE-TRYOUT PARENT MEETING: Monday, April 29th, 3:30p-4:00p MS Library
TRYOUT DATES: Wednesday and Thursday, May 8th and 9th, 3:30p-5:00p at the Perimeter Soccer Field
FIRST PRACTICE: Early August - optional summer open fields will be offered in June and July

Team Information:
Soccer is a tryout sport, meaning not all players will make a team. There will be one boys soccer team at PCS.

Season Schedule Information:
Practices will be four days per week, Monday-Thursday, except for game days. Games are typically on Tuesday or Thursday. The season will run from early August until early October.

Requirements:
All players must have a completed physical form turned in to the Middle School office. If you do not yet have a physical and do not think you can get one before the tryout date, please contact Cody via the info below.

Fee:
The one-time fee for Perimeter Soccer is $350 per player, taken from Facts in September. This covers everything and no other cost is required. Expenses typically included referees, uniforms, coaches payment, practice equipment, field maintenance and lining equipment, and player equipment.

Athletes will given a returnable jersey plus game shorts. They will be given one pair of game socks to keep. There will also be the option to order practice jerseys, additional socks and spirit wear.

Athletic clothes, soccer cleats, shin guards, soccer socks, water bottle

Parents are making a commitment to their child’s participation at practices and meets and it will be their responsibility to contact the coach in case of a conflict. As coaches, we expect that your child will be at all practices and games unless there is an emergency or an unavoidable conflict.
