Letter of Reference

For all non-staff lay leader applicants, we are also asking for a letter of reference from an official leader of your church. Our purpose is to get a better idea of how formal your leadership role is in your church, and how it would relate to the Counseling Fellows Program.

The letter of reference should explain:
1) your current role in the ministry, and
2) how participating in the Counseling Fellows Program would expand your service in the church.

Your reference letter can be from any of the following persons who best understands your ministry context:
- Senior pastor
- Associate pastor
- Director of pastoral care or community group ministry
- Director of the diaconate / deacons / Stephen ministry

Your reference letter can be emailed directly from your leader to rcs.training@redeemer.com.

By submitting this application, I intend to enroll in the Counseling Fellows Program upon approval of admission by Redeemer Counseling.
