White Pine Planting
White pines were once a staple in the landscape of the North Shore. Our White Pine Project IPA was a beer with a purpose – to help reinstate the white pine population in our back yard. Proceeds from this beer went directly to planting targeted areas along the North Shore that will stand for future generations to enjoy.

This is where Team Danger Volunteers come in. You drank the beer, now help us plant some trees! In addition to purchasing 1,000 seedlings, a portion of the proceeds of the White Pine Project IPA purchased around 40 young white pines. With the help of Lake County Soil and Water, these trees are going to be planted at the Burlington Bay Campground right in Two Harbors. Let’s get planting!
