Who are these courses for?
The Neuropharmacy MasterClass is designed for specialist pharmacists who are already working in neurology and want to enhance their skills in MS, headache disorders, Parkinson’s and epilepsy. The course is ideally for pharmacists who are band 7 or above, and assumes a level of knowledge about the pathology of the conditions and their treatment options.
How is the course taught?
Module 1 is looking at multiple sclerosis (MS) and headache disorders, whereas module 2 will cover Parkinson's disease and epilepsy.

Learners will also receive mentorship while completing a project of their choice. Before returning for the second module, a service development / review audit should be undertaken back at your workplace, which will be presented back to the cohort via a webinar in June (times to be agreed with the group). This MasterClass programme has been carefully developed by Joela Mathews and Rachel Dorsey-Campbell, both neurology pharmacists, to equip pharmacists with specialist skills in managing the different aspects of patients with neurology conditions.
What will it cost?
The course is fully funded which includes all meeting materials, meals, a travel allowance and one night of accommodation at the meeting venue on the night during module 1 and module 2. Your travel grant will be discussed once your application has been approved and is for UK delegates only.
