Call for Participation in the 17th National Astronomy Festival

Year after year since 2001, the National Festivals in Popular Astronomy are held for the benefit of the general public and the astronomy community. The subject for this edition is "Under One Sky" in tune with the IAU100 celebrations going on this year which are celebrating the excitement of the past century of astronomical discoveries and will highlight the important role of astronomy for education, as well as social and economical development. With implementation in over 100 countries, IAU100 is a great opportunity for astronomers, science communicators and educators around the world to reach out to the general public, policy-makers, teachers, students and inspire them about the wonders of the Universe. Other topics including space sciences will be dealt with. There will also be an Astronomy and Space Fair, lectures, workshops. All these activities have made this Festival throughout the years a much sought astronomical rendez- vous in the region...
For this purpose, The "Sirius Astronomy Association" is honored to invite you once again to take part in this festival which be be taking place in "Malek Haddad". After filling this form, we will notify you about the decision concerning your participation the 10 th September as a deadline.
