Virtual After School Activities Program Middle School Registration English
What is the After School Activities Program?

The After School Program (ASAP) is an Expanded Learning Program, which is a place for students to have a meal, engage in fun, healthy, safe activities and field trips, receive academic support, and participate in enrichment classes, all while hanging out with friends!

How does After School Program work online?

CANVAS: The After School Program will provide fun, interactive, educational activities and adult monitored social time through Canvas.  Students can connect with friends, hang out, learn and play.

REGISTRATION: Students will receive an invitation to participate from the Site Coordinator at their school.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT: Students can drop-in to general Zoom Rooms to receive support from adults and peers with classwork.  This is a supervised space for your child to work independently. This is not one on one tutoring.

ACTIVITY CLUBS: Students will have the opportunity to register for Enrichment Activity Clubs. Some Clubs will include activity kits, “Club Kits,” that will need to be picked up at school. Clubs and Club Kits will vary monthly and are limited.

ELIGIBILITY:  All students are eligible but programs are intended for students in need of academic support. Teacher recommendation and academic need determines eligibility.  Participation is required to maintain enrollment.

PROGRAM TIME: Programs run Monday-Friday. Hours vary by school.

COST TO PARTICIPATE:  Nothing! This program is funded through the Wenatchee School District and Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center’s federal grant. All services are free to you.
