Pre Festival Committee: All the pre-planning TEAMS for the festival

GRAPHICS TEAM
Posters, banners, programs and schedules all need a creative touch with awesome talent. If this is your skill set and you want to help out,  draw yourself into this picture.
The job:
* Creating and ordering posters, banners, schedules, and programs.
* Working and ordering within pre-approved budget.
The Musts:
* Strong interpersonal skills and work well with a team
* Must own or have access to proper graphics software
* Proficient in the use of graphics software and technical devices, & equipment
* Able to follow Festival guidelines and policies
* Able to customize graphics to maximize in all medias

SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING TEAM
Months and weeks prior to the Festival weekend ‘a buzz’ needs to be created over social media. The Media team acts as the daily reminder to potential festival-goers who are coming to the festival and encourage them to go online and get their tickets.
The Job:
* Work with the festival weekend media team
* Post to social media daily prior to the Festival
* Monitor posts and social media advertisements
* Work within a pre-approved budget
The Musts:
* A minimum of 18 years of age
* Working with the public; strong interpersonal skills
* Proficient in the use of technical devices & equipment
* Knowledge of Festival procedures and policies
* Background in media communications
* Background in social media paid advertising platform

ACCOMMODATIONS TEAM (BILLETING)
Successful festivals elsewhere attest to the great benefits of billeting from creating lasting friendships to building community ownership. To help create success in our first year of this festival, we need a group of volunteers to manage those who are eager to provide accommodations within their home or holiday trailers.
The Job:
* Review all billeting applications and references
* View accommodations if necessary
* Work with the artist team to match with an appropriate host if possible.
* Greeting performers with the registration team and providing details about their hosts.
* Be a liaison for hosts and artists.
The Musts:
* A minimum of 18 years of age
* Must have own transportation
* Working with the public; strong interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail
* Walking or standing for periods at a time
* Ability to smile
* Be comfortable with conflict resolution
* Uphold a positive festival environment

The Foundation Committee: These administration TEAMS are what keeps it all together. Creates success and sustainability for the festival.

CASH TEAM
This crew is for the accountant in all of us.  If you are organized, good with numbers and have a keen eye for detail, you will feel right at home with the Cash Team.
The Job:
* Handle/pick up/count incoming cash throughout the festival
* Cash reconciliation and data entry
* Prepare and distribute cash floats
* Execute artist payouts
* Prepare bank deposit forms
The Musts:
* A minimum of 18 years of age
* Cash-handling
* Security clearance may be required

REGISTRATION TEAM
Our registration room volunteers greet performers when they arrive and ensure their weekend gets off to the right start
The Job:
* Greeting performers and registering all band members.
* Organization and distribution of program books, t-shirts, and badges
The Musts:
* Working with the public; strong interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail


MEDIA and ADVERTISING TEAM
Festival weekend always proves to be ‘a buzz’, with lots of media personnel trying to capture the action.  The Media crew acts as the middleman, making sure all the magic is captured in an appropriate and controlled manner.
The Job:
* Assist artists with interviews with media
* Work with media manager and post social media during the Festival
The Musts:
* A minimum of 18 years of age
* Working with the public; strong interpersonal skills
* Proficient in the use of technical devices & equipment
* Knowledge of Festival procedures and policies

WORKERS TEAM
This is for those who like hands-on work, sometimes it's delivering fencing for crowd control to a site, or putting up signs, and helping set up or remove equipment needed for the event.  The workers crew is vital for a smooth running event.  

Festival Day Committee: These volunteer TEAMS are On The Town and on the ground during the festival hours, engaging with festival-goers, venue owners, and artists.  

VENUE HOST
* Work with the venue management
* Assist Soundman
* Greet and accommodate artists
* Introduce performances
* Announce and thank sponsors
* Assist Door Managers when needed
* Monitor audience attendance


DOOR MANAGER
The door teams are responsible for managing venue entrances and are generally the first volunteers' patrons encounter when arriving at a festival venue. These teams represent the beginning of a great festival!
The Job:
* Fulfill and or Supervise DOOR TEAM
* Taking tickets
* Applying wristbands
* Checking badges
* Will-call and ticket sales
* Co-ordinating assistance for special needs patrons
* Providing info and acting as ambassadors of the festival
* Program sales
* Provide supervision on cash sales at the door.
* Supervise tracking of entry and exit of patrons
* Set up merch table for every performer in the venue
* Promote and sell merchandise during the performance
* Monitor stock and maintain related records
* Provide good customer service
The Musts:
* A minimum of 18 years of age
* Be willing to supervise TEEN TEAM and provide positive feedback when needed
* An attention to detail, ensuring that all tickets and passes are valid
* Working with the public; strong interpersonal skills
* Walking or standing for periods at a time
* Cash-handling and ticket handling
* Security clearance may be required


DOOR TEAMS

Help us keep our beautiful town clean while getting exercise and taking in the festival.
The Job:
* Pick up and dispose of refuse and recyclables
* Change garbage bags and trash receptacles
* Monitoring cleanliness of eating areas
* Monitoring toilet paper supplies
* Willing to work with and monitor the TEEN TEAM
The Musts:
* Walking or standing for periods at a time


PARTY TEAM
Assist in organizing, setting up and decorating our venues and around town (with TPR approval).
The Job:
*Putting up posters PRIOR to the festival
*Taking down posters AFTER the festival
* Plan decor and decorate venues
* Set up Ticket tables and Mech tables
* Set and Reset venues for both evenings
The Musts:
* Working with the public and venues; strong interpersonal skills
* Walking or standing for periods at a time
*There may be some HEAVY LIFTING, and possibly LADDERS involved.

RUNNER TEAM
* Things are needed here and there!  We need a few dedicated Runners to help us out running errands as needed.
Musts
* Must have a vehicle and valid license.


RAFFLE TEAM
This crew is in charge of the organization and distribution of the festival raffle and 50/50 tickets if available.
The Job:
* Maintain control of the inventory of raffle tickets
* Sell raffle and 50/50 tickets to patrons at Raffle Tent and throughout the site
* Report running total for 50/50 income to the Cash team
* Account for sales at end of shift
