Following on from our annual San Francisco pitches during GDC, The Big Indie Pitch is once again heading back to The Emerald City of Seattle, as Pocket Gamer Connects rolls into town for Pocket Gamer Connects Seattle 2020 and with its bumper edition Very Big Indie Pitches.

The Very Big Indie Pitch offers shortlisted developers a chance to impress some of the best experts the industry has to offer (including journalists publishers, investors, and notable indies), answer questions and gather expert insight on their game.

Our unique speed dating format gives each developer 4-5 minutes with each table of expert judges, meaning entrants will get real feedback from the event. The winners will also be covered across Steel Media's network of website (such as Pocket Gamer and PC Games Insider), making this a great chance to get your game up in lights.

The deadline to submit your game is midnight on Monday May 04, 2020.

If you get the nod we’ll be in touch with all the details (including your TWO FREE passes to Pocket Gamer Connects Seattle). Note: Non-shortlisted entries do qualify for a discounted PGC Seattle ticket.

The basic criteria:

You can pitch your game even if you’ve pitched it at a previous BIP
We prefer to see unreleased games, though we’re happy to see games that have been released in the last 6 months, or recently updated.
Games must be presented by developers using a device that can be moved from one table to another. This can include via playable gameplay, for example on phones, tablets or a laptop, or via video.

All submissions will be notified if they are successful in their application to pitch at the event. Please note that all entrants must be able to attend the event and Steel Media will not cover cover costs associated with getting to the event.
