Volunteer Expression of Interest – EAA Connect 2025

Thanks for offering to help make EAA Connect run smoothly! We’re looking for about ten friendly people to cover two-hour shifts throughout the day. Typical tasks include:

  • Set-up & pack-down (moving tables, signage, general room prep)

  • Ushering & way-finding (greeting guests, directing them to sessions)

  • Ticket & merch desk (scanning QR codes, selling books/merchandise)

  • Light catering support (receiving platters, keeping the food area tidy)

  • Basic AV runner (handling mics, spotting for the keynote Q&A)

What you’ll receive

  • Full refund of your ticket once your shift is complete

  • A volunteer-only meeting with our speakers, including Peter Singer

  • Snacks, drinks and our eternal gratitude!

What we ask of you

  • Arrive for a 15-minute briefing before your first shift

  • Be cheerful, proactive and comfortable standing/walking for up to two hours

  • Let us know ASAP if your availability changes
