Thanks for offering to help make EAA Connect run smoothly! We’re looking for about ten friendly people to cover two-hour shifts throughout the day. Typical tasks include:
Set-up & pack-down (moving tables, signage, general room prep)
Ushering & way-finding (greeting guests, directing them to sessions)
Ticket & merch desk (scanning QR codes, selling books/merchandise)
Light catering support (receiving platters, keeping the food area tidy)
Basic AV runner (handling mics, spotting for the keynote Q&A)
What you’ll receive
Full refund of your ticket once your shift is complete
A volunteer-only meeting with our speakers, including Peter Singer
Snacks, drinks and our eternal gratitude!
What we ask of you
Arrive for a 15-minute briefing before your first shift
Be cheerful, proactive and comfortable standing/walking for up to two hours
Let us know ASAP if your availability changes
