CCF Texas organizers invite you to the first annual Austin PEEP!
WHAT: PEEP (Party to Enhance Equity in Philanthropy), an annual tradition started by NonprofitAF.com writer, Vu Le in 2017. PEEP is a way for funders and nonprofits to get to know one another and build relationships informally and without an agenda. It’s now celebrated nationally in conjunction with the summer solstice.
WHO: Anyone involved at all levels of leadership in philanthropy, corporate giving, large and small foundations, and nonprofit/501c3 organizations of all sizes and service areas. This can include staff members, board members, volunteers, donors etc.
WHERE: Mueller Lake Park. Exact meeting spot will be emailed/texted to registrants day of.
WHEN: Thursday, June 23rd, 2022 | 6-8pm
WHY: This is an opportunity to get together informally to get to know one another and help break down some of the power dynamics inherent in our relationships. This will definitely not solve all the issues we have (as that will require some serious work), but it's a start.
We will have light alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available to share with the group. Please bring snacks and/or dinner for yourself and a blanket or comfortable seating for the park. If you plan to bring kiddos, we will be located near a playground.

Consider this to be a more informal, less problematic, more affordable version of Philanthropy Day 😉
