• A way to create a vision that empowers you is to write what is called a Vivid Vision (Cameron Harold). It comes from the belief that we are evolving beings with evolving goals. This means we will always have new ideas and new visions. This document is what tracks this evolution. It’s a document that states where we will be in 3 years time. What we would be creating. What values are important to us, what dreams are important to us.
• Knowing their vision and goals will help your clients create their “north star”. North star is something that we can chase. The chase of something is inherent to humans and animals alike. Business leaders especially love a chase. We crave the anticipation of the next goal, the next thing we can’t yet have.
• This is also the reason we must constantly evaluate and update our goals or vivid vision.
• So incorporate the habit of asking questions for self-reflection and growth.
