Juneteenth Estate Planning Giveaway with Legacy Street Law

In celebration of Juneteenth, and in conjunction with law firms throughout the United States, we are implementing #juneteenthwills, where we give away estate plans throughout the country.

According to Black Enterprise, nearly 70% of African Americans have no will or estate plan. Some studies show up to 80% of Black people do not have a will. Consequently, Black people lose out on transferring generational wealth and preserving their voice when making health and financial-related legal decisions.

So here’s what we're doing to honor our Black brothers and sisters:⁣⁣

Legacy Street Law is giving away up to two (2) pro bono (free) estate plans to encourage more couples and single Black people to establish estate plans in North Carolina.

The estate plan includes, but is not limited to:

- Initial Consultation
- Last Will and Testament
- Trust
- Medical Power of Attorney
- Financial Power of Attorney
- Living Will
- HIPAA Authorization
- Guardianship Declarations (if applicable)
- Legal Execution of Documents

Deadline for entry: Juneteenth! Saturday, June 19, 2021, by 5 pm EST.
