BIPOC Scholarship Application
This application is currently open.

PLEASE READ: The SHOW BIPOC Scholarship program is primarily a first-come, first-served program. This means that if you apply and meet the program criteria, you will receive the scholarship eventually! However we have a limited number of scholarships available and an increasing interest in the program, so it may be several sessions until a spot opens up for you. Once you've submitted the application, you'll receive an email from us reiterating this information and letting you know where you are in the waiting list of applicants.

Scholarships are applicable to one session class per student (regardless of age) and open to anyone who identifies as a person of color. Please submit a separate application for every member of your household whom you would like to have considered for the scholarship. The student selected may keep their scholarship for a second session immediately following the first if they wish to continue taking classes!

Note: This application is confidential--SHOW will not publicly identify the names, scholarship levels, or other information related to any scholarship recipient or applicant.

Expectations of SHOW Circus Studio scholarship recipients:

-Attend at least 80% of classes.
-Be involved as a performer, volunteer, or audience member in student showcases and other SHOW events/performances that happen during your scholarship.
-A SHOW staff member will check in with you during each session to ask how it’s going; talk to them and tell them about your experience in your circus class.
-Those who receive less than a 100% scholarship must pay their portion of the tuition before the first day of class (payment plans can be arranged--let us know if this is needed).
-Please know that if you are unable to meet these expectations, that does not mean that you will automatically lose your scholarship. We know that life can be challenging sometimes. When you have your check-ins with your SHOW staff member, they will discuss with you how to assist you in meeting these expectations.
