Fantastic job! Before the Holy Spirit was given to the disciples, they were afraid. After Jesus visited them and gave them the gift of the Holy Spirit they were filled with courage, and they went out and changed the world. If you are ever afraid, ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with courage. There are many things that we cannot do on our own, but with God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit we can do great things. Remember there are many ways you can show forgiveness and make peace with others with the help of the Holy Spirit.
FAMILY TIME:  Now that we have looked at some examples in our lesson on how we can make peace or say "I'm sorry" it is time for you to draw your own forgiveness scene. Think about a time when you may have done something wrong or even when someone did something wrong to you. How did you, or they, show their forgiveness. Was it a hug or did they say, "I'm sorry?" Take a moment to draw a symbol or picture of forgiveness. Remember that Jesus always wants us to be sincere when we ask for or grant forgiveness. He wants us to really mean it, to be at peace with one another, and to show that we are at peace. I look forward to seeing what you draw.
Did you draw a picture of a favorite way you show forgiveness at home? *
