Dear Parent/Carer,

As part of our updated Emergency Management Plan, it is now policy that we maintain a database of at least three emergency contacts for every student.

These are in addition to parent/carers and should live within close proximity to the school. The contacts may be asked to collect your child in the event of an emergency evacuation either from school or from one of our off-site locations at Bunya Park Eleebana, Club Charlestown and Warners Bay Sports Club.

Parents/Carers will always remain our first contact in any situation. This database provides the school with alternate options, if we are unable to reach you. This may include a family friend, neighbour or fellow WBPS parent. These people will not replace the names previously supplied by you for our day-to-day communication such as sick bay and will only apply in extraordinary circumstances.
