Parade Details
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th, 1:30 PM

ROUTE LENGTH: Approximately 2 miles
  • FLOAT PARTICIPANTS WHO HAD PLANNED ON WALKING OR HAVE CHILDREN SHOULD CONSIDER THE LENGTH OF THE ROUTE.
We must clear the parking lot prior to the parade. All floats and Parade entries should arrive NO SOONER than 12 PM NOON and no later than 1:15 PM.
Parking & Carpooling

Please, no parking along the parade route during the parade. FLOAT RIDERS (Children) ARE ENCOURAGED TO GATHER at FREEDOM, LIBERTY or SOUTH MIDDLE SCHOOL and CARPOOL to the HIGH SCHOOL. Drop-Off is available at the high school in designated areas, but please note parking in these locations is prohibited. If you need to walk your child to their float, please park elsewhere and walk with your child.

Carpooling & Parking Options:
1) Freedom, Liberty or South Middle School (organize your carpool there)
2) Along the dirt road behind Leap High/Tennis Courts (road to water tower)
3) Leap High Parking Lot (limited parking)

Are you passing out candy?
FOR THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN - All individuals passing out candy MUST WALK ALONGSIDE THE FLOAT TO KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM VEHICLES AND FLOATS.
Lining Up Floats
You will be directed to enter the line-up through the northwest corner of the parking lot. Snug up to the float in front of you while maintaining a safe distance. See graphic below.

I understand, for the safety of children and spectators, ALL INDIVIDUALS handing out candy for our organization/company MUST walk alongside the float and should NOT throw candy from the vehicle/float and it is my responsibility to inform them. *
To avoid interruptions in the parade flow, I will share with the float driver and all float walkers that they should stay within 30-feet of the float in front of them.  *
