Basics
Date: Sunday, February 2, 2020  
Location: Winneshiek County Fairgrounds Danan Lansing Building
Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Early Set Up: Saturday, February 1, 6:30-8:30 PM
Day of Set Up: SUnday, February 2, 7:00-8:50 AM *All vendors must be set up and ready to go by 8:50AM
***NOTE: Vendors are required to remain set up until the end of the event.

Purpose
We are excited for year two of our Valentine's themed vendor event to help Decorah 8th graders raise funds for their annual trip to Washington DC. Students and parents will be volunteering to help make the event fabulous, and all proceeds will be divided amount the students and applied to their fundraising goals. Vendors will have the opportunity to further support their efforts if desired!

Promotion
By working with many students and families, the event will naturally attract a new audience who may not typically participate in vendor events. Here are some other things we're doing to spread the word and attract attendees:
*$100 cash prize
*Gift Bags for the first 100 attendees
*Placement in community calendars
*Press release to area news outlets
* Targeted Facebook advertisements
*Paid advertisements in local newspapers
*Flyers placed throughout the community
*8th grade students and families asked to spread the word with specific activities
*Promotional materials provided to vendors: social media graphics and flyers
*Lunch will be served and promoted

Fee schedule - Traditional Vendors (If you are an 8th grade student or parent, please email brecka.putnam@gmail.com about student vendor space)
10 x 10 space with one 8 ft. table and two chairs provided: $50
Double space - 10 x 20 with two 8 ft tables and four chairs provided: $90
Extra table $10
Shared space (two vendors in one 10 x 10 space): $60 ($30 each), two tables included. Note: Vendors are responsible for finding another vendor to share space with. We are happy to share information of vendors looking for buddies.
***Payment via PayPal (brecka.putnam@gmail.com, please use friends and family or you are responsible for fees) is preferred. Payment via check is also acceptable.
****Payment is required for us to save your space. Please submit payment promptly.
*****2019 Vendors who paid and participated will have first right of refusal, and must complete paperwork and pay by November 30 to save their space. If you are a returning vendor and know for sure that you're not returning, we ask that you please let us know as soon as you know.

Vendor fees are nonrefundable unless we can fill your space with another paid vendor. After expenses, we hope to make a sizable contribution to help these students on their class trip!  We will be accepting vendors on a first come, first served basis. You are not officially considered a vendor until you have returned payment and completed this form. We will only accept one vendor per direct sales company, and will start a wait list on a first come, first served basis.  

By completing the form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the application and agree to abide by the rules. You understand that the organizers and volunteers, the Winneshiek County Fair, and Winneshiek County are not responsible for any loss, damage to property, or personal injury of any kind, and you hearby release those entities from any liability connected to your participation in the February 2, 2020 event as well as any other activities related to this event.
