Application for Beltane Festival Site Crew 2020
We would not feel right if you were not made aware at the outset that we find ourselves having to collect an £80 DEPOSIT (https://www.intothewildgathering.com/copy-of-deposits-payments) before we can consider your application for a volunteer position at any of our events. This is due to people making commitments they cannot fulfill.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a returning volunteer—please use the £40 returning volunteer deposit.

If your application is not accepted, your deposit will be refunded immediately. If you give four full weeks notice, your deposit will be returned. If you find yourself unable to keep your promise after that grace period, (due to illness, change of plans, etc.) you must find a replacement for your position or your deposit will not be refunded. We will return your deposits within 21 business days following completion of the festival.

One of the best parts of the festival is seeing the festival grow from an empty field to a vibrant pulsating whirlwind of bliss, then returning again to the vast empty fields, as if nothing ever happened.

We are looking for people to work with us to set up (Monday 4 May to Friday 8 May) and set down if you can commit to that as well (Monday 11 May to Wednesday 13 May). Please note that you cannot volunteer to work set down ONLY.

Before the festival site work will include:

Bringing kit onto and off site
Putting up tents
Painting signage
Assisting with onsite decor
Installing plumbing and lighting

After the festival work will include:

Loading equipment into vans
Taking down tents
Taking down decor
Litter picking

Please consider that this a more physical role than some of our other volunteer options and you will need a reasonable fitness level.

The main duties are before or after the festival, but it's always helpful to have some people on standby during the event if necessary. If you are interested to do this, please indicate this on your application below.

In return we will feed you three meals a day during set up/set down, give you a free campervan/caravan pass if needed, as well as a ticket to the festival. You will also be provided breakfast and one main meal during the festival.

Joining together as part of a team and in community is really important to us, we want you to feel part of the Into the Wild family and make new connections.

We ask all crew to respect Into The Wild's drug- and alcohol-free policy.

For set up crew, we'd need you to be onsite at 12 noon on Monday 4 May. For set down, we'd need you to be ready to work at 1pm on Monday 11 May.

If you're up for this, please fill in the form! Short answers are good.

Hope you can come join our team!
