Entry fee: $2 per piece, up to four pieces per artist.
All youth entrants must be students and/or residents of Benton County, MO. Artwork must be recent (created within the last three years) and original (the hand-worked result of the submitting artist’s own concept and effort, not made in a guided class or workshop, and with respect to copyright), and family friendly. Due to limited display space, frames may not exceed 36” in width.
We hope to offer prizes according to medium (drawing, painting, and mixed media), dependent on the number of entries – please note medium with your entries.
Two-dimensional work (including photography) must be brought to the show framed and ready to hang with securely attached braided picture wire. No saw tooth, cardboard pop-out or plastic hangers will be accepted as they will not work with our display system. Tables will be available to display 3-dimensional work (sculptures, wood and metal work, textiles, glass, etc.). Artwork is entered at the artist’s own risk, although every precaution will be taken in handling.
Proceeds from this event will go toward future events and the formation of a Benton County Arts Council.
