Parents/Guardians who wish for their child  to remain remote or switch to remote for the 4th quarter MUST complete this form.  If this form is not completed, then the student will be expected to return/attend  in-person learning for the 4th quarter

Attendance will be taken every day. Handbook attendance requirements will be in effect, even for remote learners. It is not acceptable to simply not show up to class, even in a remote setting.   La asistencia se tomará todos los días. Remote learning is at least a 5-hour commitment each day in order to meet the state requirements. Lack of participation can result in truancy involvement, placement in an alternative remote program (3rd party vendor) or even retention if grade level requirements aren’t met.    El aprendizaje remoto es un compromiso de al menos 5 horas diarias para cumplir con los requisitos estatales. Once the commitment to go remote has been made, students WILL NOT be permitted to return to in-person until the end of the quarter.  Una vez que se haya hecho el compromiso de ir remoto, NO se permitirá a los estudiantes regresar en persona hasta el final del trimestre.    
Students who elect remote learning may not be on school grounds from 7:00-3:00 on school days (except with permission from administration).   Los estudiantes que eligen el aprendizaje remoto no pueden estar en los terrenos de la escuela de 7:00 a 3:00 los días escolares (excepto con el permiso de la administración).
Student work and assessments will be graded following the same guidelines as students who are attending in person.   El trabajo y las evaluaciones de los estudiantes se calificarán siguiendo las mismas pautas que los estudiantes que asisten en persona.
Students in remote learning may need to meet with a teacher one-on-one to seek help and may schedule appointments with their teacher(s).   Los estudiantes en aprendizaje remoto pueden necesitar reunirse con un maestro uno a uno para buscar ayuda y pueden programar citas con sus maestros.
Students must be able to participate at home without distractions or competing sounds (TV, music, shouting, etc.) that could interfere with learning.   Los estudiantes deben poder participar en casa sin distracciones o sonidos en competencia (televisión, música, gritos, etc.) que puedan interferir con el aprendizaje.
If parents/guardians choose to observe live sessions, we ask that they refrain from speaking or interfering with the lesson in any way. If the parent/guardian needs to speak with the teacher, a separate meeting must be scheduled.  Si los padres/tutores eligen observar las sesiones en vivo, les pedimos que se abstengan de hablar o interferir con la lección de cualquier manera. Clear selection
Expectations for student behavior during live lessons or Google Meets is the same as it would be when attending school in person. The student should be attentive and respectful toward classmates and the teacher. Food should not be eaten while participating in these sessions.   Las expectativas sobre el comportamiento de los estudiantes durante las lecciones en vivo o Google Meets son las mismas que cuando asisten a la escuela en persona. Remote students who are receiving special education, RTI or English language services will have additional remote meetings that will be scheduled on a case-by-case basis.  Los estudiantes remotos que están recibiendo educación especial, RTI o servicios de idioma inglés tendrán reuniones remotas adicionales que se programarán caso por caso.
All students are required to use the assigned online platform (SeeSaw in K-3 and Google Classroom in 4-6) on a daily basis to access instructional videos and other instructional content, complete learning activities, and submit assignments.  Todos los estudiantes deben usar la plataforma en línea asignada (SeeSaw en K-3 y Google Classroom en 4-6) diariamente para acceder a videos instructivos y otro contenido instructivo, completar actividades de aprendizaje y enviar tareas.
Teachers will be available from 2:15-3:15 PM. Students will be expected to reserve this time to meet with their teachers as assigned.  Los maestros estarán disponibles de 2:15-3:15 PM. Se espera que los estudiantes reserven este tiempo para reunirse con sus maestros según se les asigne.
