The Pajarito Trails Roundtable seeks participation from a diverse range of trail users including bikers, hikers, equestrians, birders/naturalists, trail runners, conservationists, adjacent residents, community groups, and the like. Participation by people of all ages is encouraged. Respondents to this questionnaire will be invited to join the PTR email list to receive invitations to PTR events and surveys.
The purpose of the PTR is to identify concerns of collective trail-user interest for the maintenance, development, and preservation of sustainable, multi-use trails on the Pajarito Plateau and adjacent watersheds. The PTR will be a resource, available to managers of lands incorporating trails to provide collective user perspectives that will improve the care, management, and integration of their trails. Examples of topics expected to generate mutual interest include, but are not limited to, mitigating trail user conflicts, protection & maintenance of trails and trail corridors, providing input/being a resource to land managers about proposed trail projects & initiatives, etc.
