WHAT ARE WE PLAYING? ๐ŸŽฎ

We will be playing a game I designed called "Can You Save $1,000 in 6 Months?". In this game, you will create your ideal future: you will choose the career you want, the car you want to drive, the house you want to live in, and even the streaming subscriptions you want to have. Then... LIFE will happen! ๐Ÿ˜ You will face real-life scenarios where you will have to make financial decisions (some minor, some VERY important). And at the end of 6 months, we'll see if you were able to save $1,000! ๐Ÿ’ธ

Throughout the game, you will learn how to use a checking account, a savings account, and a credit card. You will even learn about investing!  ๐Ÿค—

The whole point of the game is to get you ready for the real-life personal finance world, so if you don't know the first thing about saving (or anything I just mentioned for that matter) ๐Ÿ‘€ , then you should definitely sign up! ๐Ÿ˜…

- This event is FREE to all attendees. However, "free" doesn't mean "no value" or "sales pitch event" (at least not in this case). I have put many hours of work and I'm donating my time and energy to make this game for you. So, if you sign up to attend, please show up. ๐Ÿ™
If something comes up and you can no longer make it, that's ok, just please please Please PLEASE ๐Ÿ™ let me know (email: hello@isabelexplains.com) so I can give your spot to someone else. ๐Ÿ˜Š Spaces are limited.   

- Participants MUST have a Zoom account in order to join. A Zoom account is free and you can get one at https://zoom.us/signup#/signup.  

- This game is intended for participants 13-19 years of age. Parents are welcome to watch and monitor, but please do not interact during the event. The whole idea of the game is to let teens make their own decisions. ๐Ÿ˜‰

- This event WILL BE RECORDED for advertising and promotional purposes. Its contents may appear on social media and other advertising platforms. So, if you're not comfortable with this, just choose "Can't make it to either, but would love to be notified about future events!" and email me (hello@isabelexplains.com), so we can arrange a private event. ๐Ÿ”

- By attending, adult attendees (18+ years old) consent to being recorded (and parents of minor attendees consent to their child(ren) being recorded). Attendees' image, voice, likeness, etc. will be used for advertisement and promotional purposes on multiple media platforms.

- This is a CAMERA-ON event. If you rather you (or your child) not be on camera, please  "Can't make it to either, but would love to be notified about future events!" and email me (hello@isabelexplains.com), so we can arrange a private event. ๐Ÿ”. If enough people reach out, I will have make a non-recorded event in the future where the use of camera won't be required. Some of us are camera shy, I get it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

-  This game will be held in English. However, you're welcome to interact with others in the chat in whichever language you're more comfortable with. Just keep it clean, please. ๐Ÿ‘

- No profanity, vulgar language, swear words, bullying, or any other distasteful comments, gestures, etc. will be tolerated during this event. Anyone violating this rule will immediately be removed from the event. We're all here to have fun and learn! So, let's keep a friendly atmosphere. ๐Ÿฅฐ

- No sales, promotions, affiliate links, etc. are allowed in the chat. Anyone violating this rule will immediately be removed from the event. Again, this event is for everyone to learn, not to be bombarded with spam.
